Before you uninstall
- Export each project as a .zip (project page → Export). If your files also live in Git and sync is on, pull once so your repository has Jira's latest changes.
- Uninstall from Jira's app management.
What happens
- Scenario Book removes the copies of feature files it published to your projects for pipeline sync. It has about 55 seconds to do this while Atlassian uninstalls it; if a project has a very large number of files, turn sync off in that project first: the copies are taken back in the background within a few minutes.
- Atlassian deletes the app's own stored data 28 days after you uninstall. If you reinstall within 21 days, you can ask Atlassian to reconnect the old data. After 28 days it is gone.
- Each story keeps the small
scenarioBookproperty with counts (scenarios, passed, failed, not run, last run). It holds no scenario text. Your JQL filters stop matching once nothing updates it. - Your repository is yours and is not touched.
If your license lapses instead
Editing, import, and your pipeline's pushes and results uploads stop, and a banner says so. Reading, export and undoing an import keep working, so you can always take your scenarios with you.
