Scenario Book for Jira

Import and export

Import

Project page → Import. Five steps: Source, Upload, Preview, Import, Report.

  1. Source: a folder of .feature files zipped from your repository (or git archive), single .feature files, or a Behave Pro export (see Moving from Behave Pro).
  2. Upload: the zip is opened in your browser, and only the .feature files inside are sent to Jira. Everything else is left alone.
  3. Preview: before anything is written you see every file, which scenarios match a story by their issue-key tag, which match none, which files have problems, and which are already in the project. The preview never imports anything.
  4. Import: runs in the background. You can leave the page.
  5. Report: the same numbers as the preview, and every file left out, by name, with the reason.

Limits

Undo an import

Each import can be undone from its report. Undo removes exactly what that import created. A file someone edited since is listed and left alone.

Export

Export keeps working if your license lapses.
