Feature files and living documentation
The project page has the whole project's scenarios, in the folders they keep in your repository.
Feature files tab
- A folder tree of every
.featurefile, with each file's scenarios, their stories and their last result. - Filters for tag, story, story status, fix version and last result. The same filters apply on the Read tab.
- Move or rename a file or a whole folder. A preview shows every path that will change before anything is written. Scenario Book refuses a move that would leave your repository with a file and a folder of the same name, which Git cannot hold.
- Delete a file and it can be restored for 30 days, then it is removed for good with its versions.
- Scenarios with no story are listed so you can link each one.
Read tab
Each file as a page anyone can read: the feature's description, each scenario with its steps as text, Examples as tables, rules and doc strings, and the stories each scenario belongs to. Print uses the same layout, so a product owner can take it to a review.
Anyone who can browse the project can read these pages.
